This is the image from my backup camera. Is there a way to physically adjust the camera so it's more even from side to side?

Note the license plate lights in relation to the green lines on the sides of the display. Seems like it's off by a few inches to me.

If you were to replace the camera with a fish eye lens, it would give you more side to side. Not sure if they make them for the taco

I always thought it was on purpose, mine is the same way and if i put the center line beside the tongue of the trailer i want to hitch to it puts the tongue right over my hitch.

Look at the placement of the camera on the tailgate, it's fine

The green lines perpendicular to the red lines. Ha or are they blue? The look green to me.

Pretty sure they're green on the actual head unit.

Either way- color doesn't matter. But thanks for the laugh.

I agree, as the hitch gets closer, it'll still line up with the center line.

I hadn't thought of this. The camera is off-set a little.

Indeed it is, if you want you could get a swing out tire carrier with bumper and get a bracket to relocate the camera so it's dead center :D

Tire carrier isn't in the plans. A new bumper likely is!
