I used my back up cam today for the first time hooking up a trailer. This seems to be the best function for the BUC. I did notice, though that the dotted line in the middle of the screen is not lined up with my hitch/center of the truck. Is this because I relocated it when I installed the pop & lock? I know it's not a big deal but this type of thing pisses me off. Anyone without a pop & lock please post on how closely aligned the camera index marks are with the center of the truck. Thanks.

    Regards,
    Chris

Sorry, it's in the rear view mirror.

What pop & lock did you install. The one I installed you didn't touch the camera at all. You just install the solenoid inside the tailgate. Now it works with my remote control.
I wired it so that you have to hit the remote twice before it unlocks the tailgate, like the passenger doors.

Yes this is due to moving the camera to the other side during the install

Now I'm really pissed. Pop & Lock should put some sort of disclaimer or warning about this in the packaging. Maybe a small detail to most people, but I like my stuff to work the way it's supposed to.

The line guides are new for 2012. There's a big chance that since the majority of this truck is unchanged from '05-'12, Pop&Lock may not even know the camera has been updated. It's not like auto manufacturers send out notices to aftermarket companies. Tell Pop&Lock yourself, but be nice as I said they may not know. There may even be a test of a newer model in it for you for being nice.
