I have a '22 TRD OR DCLB with less than 5k miles on it and I'm experiencing this with the back-up camera: When in use, backing down my gravel driveway at anything faster than a crawl shows in the display as the image breaking up and then going black totally. I could have sworn it wasn't doing this when I first brought it home. Has anyone else had this issue?

I'll try to capture some when I video it. It starts out totally fine, and then starts to breakup from the vibration of the gravel driveway.

Start simple. Unplug and clean the connector(s). Also check the physical state of wires etc.

Brand new truck why not take it to the dealer? Does their service dept have a bad reputation?

Mine has been doing this as well intermittently for the last few days. I have an anytime backup/front camera installed, and it's also like -20F right now, so I assumed it was related to one or the other.

Mine did something similar a few times last year. Backing out of my drive way the camera image looked a little shaky with a distorted image but I don't recall it went to a black screen... happened two or three times in the same day so I got out and started jiggling/playing with some of the connections at the back of the truck and it went away. There was nothing unplugged or obvious to me but still lead me to believe there was a loose connection somewhere.

i love that stuff. cleans everything and dries out wet electronics! the connection is probably dirty. especially if you haul a lot of dirt, mulch, gravel, etc. in your bed.

Sounds like a loose connection/solder point?

It's probably the connector that slowly has rattled/vibrated a bit loose.

Mine did that too and I just made sure the connection was tight and the cam went back to normal

Do you mean the connector on the back of the head unit or in the tailgate?

Im not sure if all 3rd gen years/models are the same but my 2016 access cab under the rear of the truck kind of in between the frame theres an electrical connector plug thing that connects to the cam
