Sorry if this has been asked already but I have a 2013 Tacoma and the original OEM back up camera which shows on the rear view mirror isn't working. I don't have the camera ran to the head unit. I didn't find much info about it. Any thoughts?? I don't think it runs off the radio. Does anyone know the diagram for it ? The mirror or camera itself isn't loose. Wondering where else to check for a short or why it's doing this. The screen comes up blue just in the beginning and then blacks out. Thanks guys ....

There's a harness in the camera wiring back near the tailgate so that if you remove the tailgate you can just unplug the camera. I'd check that and see if it's loose or disconnected.

screen changes to blue, therefor the signal from your reverse wire is good. otherwise you'd get no reaction.
screen comes on, but has no video signal: could mean that the camera is not receiving power, or not sending video (easy fix options) or completely wonky

check the 4 wire harness just inside your rear bumper, like dsrtne1 said, and check the fuse that the camera is on.
don't know which fuse that'd be, as I installed my own OEM camera after the fact and just tied the power to a backup light
