Has anyone experienced their backup camera all of a sudden not being displayed in the console? I JD a dead battery which I switched out and after that no camera. I also have a front camera wired in that allows me to switch views and that does not work.

Have you checked the inline fuse for whatever aftermarket camera "switcher" you installed?

If that fuse is ok, I'd disconnect the battery for a few minutes to see if it sorts itself out when you reconnect the battery.

If it was just your rear camera which was non-op I'd start with the connection near the tailgate. Since it's both cameras, look for something more central. A fuse or common switch is a good suggestion. If nothing else, temporarily un-hook the front camera and see if the rear one starts working again.

I assume you have the “any time backup camera mod” from your description. Check the diode, as that’s a huge weak point since they are using a diode incorrectly in their circuit. (also why you can buy replacements from them), as they fail a lot.
