back up Camera

Hi, first off I am sorry if there is an existing thread for this, but I did search and read through several threads but did not find my answer.

I have an 08 D-cab short bed prerunner and I am interested in adding a back up cameral. How can I determine if my truck is pre-wired to install an OEM back up camera, or would I be able to install even an after-market system? My truck came with a Pansonic HU dvd/cd system, but not sure if I am able to add a back up camera to this either.

09 and up are pre-wired. You can run the wire and add the Camera pretty easily.
