Backed out on a 3rd gen

I had waited and waited to get a third gen tacoma. After waiting for the dealership, and constant set backs, I tried finding used. I found that the used market was insanely high as well, so I'm holding off until the market drops again.

All these parts and no truck to put them on. Hoping I get the clear to post in the market place area soon.

End rant.

Watch. As soon as you sell your goodies you'll find the sweetest deal on a 3rd gen...

BTW if you are going to modify to hell why not buy an SR as you can still find those cheap(er) especially if it's a utility package one. I saw some for $26k at my local dealership.

 

I wonder if the market will correct itself... when I bought mine, I searched for 9 months combing the used market and looking through new stock. Used were outrageously priced and finding what I wanted new was not quick. Then, one day I find not one but 2 trucks equipped the way I wanted at the same dealership not far from my place. When I got there it turned out they actually had 3. If you can't find what you want then wait it out. The one you want is out there somewhere.

 

I'm holding out for the graphic novel myself.

 

And think, it's not even close to Friday yet.

You aren’t looking hard enough…i found a fully loaded 19 TRDOR w/ 19,000 miles, pro wheels, Yokohama Geolanders, Icon Stage 3, Prinsu roof rack in Utah for $40,000. There’s deals out there!

 

Dare I ask the obvious question?.....why did you buy add-ons for a truck you didn't own? Or did I misunderstand?

 

Just picked up a 2019 TRD OR with 11k miles for 36.7k. I thought that was a good deal for the market. There are deals out there especially if you can find one that has been on the lot for a while.

 

Absolutely yes! Deals are getting better as the market stabilizes.
