SR utility package is my favorite 3rd gen configuration. One dealer in state, that wasn't super close had one a few months back advertised at 0% APR it was even red. The color I prefer on the UP and it was 4x4. I really want an SX though. They did also have a silver SX 2.7 4x2 advertised at 0% APR.

I can't recall what price they was asking. The SX sold after about 2 weeks. Don't know if the UP sold, it probably has by now.

Dude, buy the effing truck if it exists. In five years, it won't matter to you if you overpaid. And your life will have been that much better by having the truck sooner. You're a person -- don't let a market tell a person what to do.

How did you come across the truck?

I've been using Autotempest and Autotrader to no avail.

I called, emailed all the local dealers and told them what I was looking for. 2 months later I had my Taco. 2016 TRDOR under 60k miles. (turned in lease) The color didn't matter as long as it was not white or black. Silver sky metallic worked. 23k out the door.

I had the opposite thing happen. I accidentally bought three third gens but only one set of rotopax. Now I don't know what to do.

    good move...

I would now just purchase some base Ford Ranger and drive it right to kibbe tech and give them between $40-80k extra to do this:

in the end it would cost almost the same as an overhyped shitty Toyota taco ;), but will be one million light years more capable.

You might think this this is excessive ... but with all the cheap interests rates and inflation, is it though?

Yeah I have the SX pack and for a base model I think it looks great =) however in my area I've been only finding UP for the fleets or SR5 and up packs with a 10k markup... Seems only the UP was spared the markups at least in NJ.
