Backing for Grille

I just installed a T-REX Horizontal Billet Grille and was wondering if anyone had suggestions on a backing I can put behind it? I feel like it has too much of a see through affect and dont want the radiater to show too much and be unprotected. Thank you for any suggestions or comments.

 

How about taking a piece of "carpenter's Cloth".... it's a 1/4" X 1/4" Galvanized mesh you get at the Hdwre store... cut a piece and zip tie it in there... Before you put in for final install spray paint it black.... You now have 1/4" holes to keep rocks/birds/etc out of the rad and have reduced the visual impact of the rad(s)....

It works..!!

 

2nd Gen Satoshi guys just paint it black.

 

Thank you for your replies! I will try out that "Carpenter's Cloth". Sounds like a great easy fix and see how it works out. Any suggestion on spray paint that'll hold up? I drive from Long Beach to Las Vegas alot, at least once a month.
