I had a great time, I'm learning more and more of what my truck is capable of every time I go out. I definitely need to get some sand bags to weigh down the rear end! When the guys got in the back, it was a lot easier to get up the hill!

Dude, I wish my truck still looked like that. A guy ran into me on purpose on my way home. He got out of his truck at a stop light and approached me in my truck. Using all types of hand gestures and kind words, he told me not to drive around with my brights on. I showed him what my brights looked like and he began threatening me. After the next light, he ran his full size Ford work truck into my baby...on purpose. So now I have to rebuild her! WTF!!!

called 911, he stopped pretty quick. I think his intention was to cut me off to piss me off, but he missed horribly and slammed into my truck. Shes in the driveway. I don't even want to look at her right now. Cops did nothing. The guy said I ran into him! lol Yeah I'm gonna run a 45,000 dollar truck into your piece of shit work vehicle! So the cop said if he took both of our statements at face value, we would both be arrested. I'm so happy when the fucking system works!

You'd both be arrested? For what? What a douche-cop.

You said he was in a work truck; does that mean a company truck or a personal truck that's used for work (and therefore beat up to the point where the dents from hitting you blend in with the other damage)?

With no police report, I guess you'll have to file under non-insured motorist?

I had a blast today guys, was a lot of fun.. and that Rice Peak trail is amazing... great scenery, little tougher than I anticipated and even almost had an issue getting up the last stretch haha. Great times, looking forward to more. Hopefully over the next few days I can go through my pics and the GoPro and get some stuff up, but not tonight, gotta get up early for work :)

Jason: that seriously sucks man. I hope the insurance treats you right... I'd be pissed.

Well he said that without witnesses, both of our statements would be taken literally. that measn he said i hit him and i said he hit me. both would be charged with road rage violence.

It was a electrical company truck. an f350 with the metal cabinet things on the back and a ladder rack.

My pleasure - I love to go wheeling! If anyone wants to hit Chivo Falls (4X4 only) or Chimney Rock (2WD can make it to the rock - with ease, I promise - but not beyond) I'll be happy to take you guys out there.

    P.S. My name is Tony

Pending I'm open I always enjoy Chiva Falls, and I have yet to run Chimney Rock so I'd like to do that sometime too. Also always down for Box Canyon and such over there too.... or pretty much anywhere I can make it without serious trail damage :)

Tony, you in the Tucson area? If so there are a couple of us. I am always up for a weekend or afterwork romp up in Reddington.
