Is it me or did the grid lines move on my 2012 Tacoma? The grid lines on the rear camera disply seemed to have moved to the right. I seem to remember when I bought the truck new the center line was perfectly aligned with the hitch. I guess I should have paid more attention. There is no damage that I can tell to the camera or the tailgate. Should I just get the dealer to check? It is under warranty.

Did the lines move, which are generated in the control / display, or did the image / camera move?

No matter which, have it looked at under warranty.

    Center line?

    I also have a 2012.
I have a box outline with two horizontal lines signifying distance, one green and one red.

On my 2012 there is a center line, but a bit back, not right up close by the hitch.

Same here. The guideline should not be centered, as the camera is not perfectly centered on the truck.

Since the grid lines are generated by the display and not the camera shouldn't the display have compensated for the offcenter mounted camera?

The gridlines on my 2013 aren't aligned with the camera, as far as I can tell. The passenger side line makes it look like I'm crossing a parking space line all the time. But, when I get out and look, I'm situated well-within the lines on both sides. I've pretty much started to ignore the lines and rely on the camera only for rear safety vision.

I have the 2012 mirror in my 2009 and the lines aren't centered. I wish the lines weren't there.

The camera isn't centered - it sits off to the passenger side a couple inches. That makes things a little bit off in the viewscreen.

I have a pop n lock. Don't know if that is the issue.

It has to be the pop n lock, becuz it moves the camera from the passenger side of the tuck to the drivers side so when you see it on the screen it's been "shifted" over to the drivers side aka lines to the right
    (This is just my opinion)

Thanks for all the input. I guess I just noticed something that had been there all the time. Odd, since I have hitched up my boat several times and hadn't noticed it. They say the eyes are the second thing to go. I forgot what the first one was.

It's not the pop and lock, my completely stock 13 does the same.
