    I have been trying to come up with some clever backup camera ideas for the camera placement aside from the license plate ones, my big worry with those is that they would get stolen because they would be so easily seen and removed.
    I really like camsbored's camera setup and it looks like it would function well. does anyone have a different type of setup? of have pictures of the the actual screen looks like when backing up?

    Also has anyone tried mounting one under the bumper or removing one of the license plate lights and putting a camera like the pioneer ND-BC2 camera in its place?

    I`ve seen one mounted into the license plate lights. It was done really well and pretty darn hard to detect. Would probably be my choice for locations.

    found it;

    I actually have a jeep now. Imagine that.
    the license plate ones are probably more secure than mounting one somewhere. at least mine is. Mine came with bolts that you have to get under the truck to install. Not getting it off unless you have small hands and tools with you. I had to have my gf install it cause i couldn't get my hands up where i needed to tighten bolts down.

    boyo. it wasn't what i wanted but my gf got it for me for xmas so i can't complain. I'm actually really glad she got it for me instead of me ninja mounting one cause this way its adjustable up and down so I can tilt it up when dropping a boat in the water.

    The VR3 by the license plate looks like a good option... does anything have any pictures of what the screen looks like when its mounted there? my only worry is you would only be able to see straight out and not judge depth when backing up
