Backup Camera install with parking brake bypass for Sony HU question

    Ok, I installed a sony xav-601-bt in my 2006 double cab. The thing is awesome! I grounded out my light green parking brake wire as to bypass the no video in motion mode. My problem now is that I cannot get my backup camera to come on automatically when i put my truck in reverse. I can manually go through the settings and get picture though. i believe the same light green wire is also supposed to go to my back up lights. How can i make this work? BTW, Sony has the worst customer support EVER!
