Hello I have a 06 tacoma and i am installing a backup camera. I have the camera mounted and wired.. But I have one question.. I cant find where to hook up the back up sensor wire from the kenwood dnx8120 to tell the hu turn on the view from the camera.. I would not like to tap into a factory wire if I can help it.. I rather us the wire harness instead to make my connection.. Please help..

You need two power sources, one simply powers up the camera, I just speed-sliced the hot leg of my reverse light on one side. That way I used very little wire. The other needs to needs to "tell/signal" the HU to switch to the back up camera mode. Behind your driver side kick panel, you'll see a red and white wire, this needs taped into thehead units reverse wire. On a Pioneer unit the wire is purple/white stripe, not certain on a Kenwood.
