Hey guys, I recently bought the master tailgaters backup camera and a pioneer 1400nex. I’m having trouble figuring out the wiring because the camera says to tap the power into the backup light wire, but then there’s a purple/white reverse signal wire in the back of the pioneer. Has anyone wired up this combination? Thanks.

    Does Pioneer offer phone support?

If you go to someplace like "Crutchfield" and purchase a harness for your head unit, the new harness will have a wire to connect the reverse sig. The backup light tap is just to supply power to the camera.

@PhenixFord I have the wire harness for the head unit, it’s all wired up. However there’s a purple/ white reverse signal wire and I’m not sure what to connect it to. Crutchfield told me i had to connect the power supply wire to it but that didn’t work.
