Backup camera

Just bought a 2012 prerunner, and would like to install backup camera &mirror with temp/compass. Info on install, and where to buy a new or used plug-n-play parts would be much appreciated

Thought backup cameras were standard on all Tacomas after 2009?

 

Would this camera plug n play to a 2015 model oem connector (providing one is present) within the tailgate via a short adapter pigtail, or does it route it's own harness out thru the tailgate to connect somewhere under the bed on the chassis?
