    It's the wife's T4R so it's stock
You can buy those and cut the casing off to make ground sausage. I had to do it for a sausage and peppers bake...

That looks awesome Foxy! With the experience we now have around here, has anyone used a convection bake oven for this. Wife gonna probably cook ours in convection mode. Just wondering.:)

It was great with eggs. That is all.

Not much yet, got a pretty good sound system w/ my custom sub box. Plan on adding more lights & a tool box.
I wussed out & used about half of the sausage that was in the receipe, then added hash browns & half a dozen eggs. Just fried the browns then added the eggs. Wove the bacon together then spread the sausage (Farmer John links - smushed together again) really thin. Then added the browns/scram eggs & rolled it up.
Didn't go with the BBQ sauce, too much of a purist I guess.

    IT WAS AWESOME!
BTW - The carrot juice was NOT a good pairing, but no trip to the cardiologist yet, so good-to-go!

I thought that next time I'd try the bacon weave then add a layer of hash browns, then the sausage, then the eggs.
The wife did note that we shoulda turned it so the bason was crisp on the bottom as well, but she loved that I built b-fast for her! (Scored some points!)

We had it last night too Stu. Second that on flipping it so the bottom would get crunchy.

It was awesome Neon! You are now my sons adopted father. I'll have to introduce you two sometime.:D

Got pics but don't have them here at work with me. My wife went by the recipe and was actually excited to do it again and do her personal mods on it. It was great the way it was, but we like stuff spicy so she will work her majic next time. The convection bake oven only took a little over an hour to cook it. Very yummy indeed!

Just some cheap store brand bbq rub and I think it was honey smoked bbq sause, again some off brand. Any bbq that you like will work fine, I used a smoked type since I wasn't using a smoker to cook it, thought it would add that extra taste.

Any type of ground sausage will work, I had a hard time finding ground sausage also, there was only 1 brand and 2 flavors and it was in the meat cooler next to the ribs, I expected it to be with the bacon. Ask the meat person if they carry it.

Thanks, it was actually fun to make. I'm excited to do it again with cheese and potatoes, I'd do peppers, but the BF doesn't like them. Can't make it too often though!!

Some wannabe employee of the quarter actually brought in 2 bacon explosions this morning. Gets my vote! Somehow the week starts out kindler & gentler with bacon explosion breakfast Monday! Even after an excruciating youtube video stole my sight, lol. Thanks to the bacon explosion I'll not be needing the seeing eye dog.
