So I'm considering adding a set of ditch lights to the hood of my tacoma and came across these:

They attach to the typical hood brackets and allow for a 360 degree swivel of the lights...basically can have them forward facing or turn them to 45 and 90 degrees. I'm really considering adding them to the build but was curious if anybody had any experience with them in the past. Any input would be appreciated!

Only cons I see are lots of height and lots to vibrate loose over time.

I went with the lowest profile bracket and light combo I could find and it still bugs me being in my peripheral vision sometimes.

How often do you actually plan on moving it between 0, 45 and 90 degrees? I had a cop car once with the old school pillar mount spot light. Thought that would be uber cool to use.

In the 4 years I owned it - I used that light exactly 1 time.

Not that lights aren't usesful but given I could adjust it without having to get out, pull a pin and move it - I still never did.

Neat - I'm sure they're built well and probably work for some people - just that person isn't me, because I know that I'll likely never actually "adjust/move" them and I may as well KISS on a standard mount. YMMV

But can you point them back into the cab for extra interior lighting?

I put rigid dually ss on my truck pointed at a 45 and have never once had a reason to move them

I just grab mine and rotate it. From straight forward to straight to the side. Not a big deal, tighten the bolts every once in awhile if you need to.
