Today I noticed the front fender doesn't properly align with the rocker panel on the passenger side. I know this is pretty minor but this kind of shizz bothers the crap out of me. I will definitely show it to toyota next time I'm in for service. You can see bottom pic is correct alignment and top is off. You can also see the big gap between panels near the bolt.

You my friend will be playing with Fire trying to align that a mm or so better. Could be the shape of the metal or whatever. But you'll notice the bolt and all are covered in the thicker paint. To do anything with that will break that painted area up and expose it to possible rust issues. Body shop won't be repainting it to factory spec to align the panel, so you'd ultimately be shooting yourself in the foot. That is if it can even be aligned if it's not a shape matching issue.

It's a full frame truck, with wider tolerances than say a BMW. You're going to have to live with it. If you're that picky, I'm surprised you didn't notice this BEFORE buying the truck.

I should have added, yeah I totally understand the can of worms this is to try and get it aligned. I know I will have to live with it, but at least maybe dealership will be extra nice to me or something.

Yeah, I am surprised I didn't notice this either. I'm pretty anal about this kind of thing.

Also add the back bumper, there is a good chance that is not aligned properly either.

    Ahh you guys! Haha.

I did check the rear of the truck carefully because of all the complaints here. Bumper, bed, and cab aligned really well. Gaps are decent with the exception of the above complaint.

this is one instance, I could see an unexperienced person making this worse.
I would stop parking over mirrors and save those for the bedroom :D

That would annoy the hell out of me, especially on a 55k dollar truck.

How bad is it from say 10 feet away? I feel like it would actually be pretty noticeable.

You think thats bad, I picked up a burger the other night and there were more pickles on the left side of the bun than the right. Nobody gives a shit about nothing anymore.
