Bad body panel alignment

Actually my wife and I were driving through Midland on the way to Prescott and stopped at a Whataburger and pulled back out on the interstate, she took a bite and realized there was no meat in the bun. LMAO We went back

Don't worry about it.

 

If it dont rub then leave it. The likely outcome of complaining about it is that they will find you to be a pain and just do something quick and easy to make you go away

 

I bought this Tacoma with 15,000 miles on it. I was looking it over and noticed the bed, bumpers, and hood etc seemed misaligned. I suspected the truck had been wrecked. That is how I ended up on this damn TacomaWorld. Several thousand dollars and many wrench turning hours later here I am. These things are not build like a Rolex but more like a Timex.

 

I’ll take things that didn’t happen for 500, Alex.



Also OP if it bothers you fix it. I have a couple things like this that bother me every time I look at it. Once you notice it’s hard not to see it.

 

with the precision manufacturing and assembly that is available today, there's no excuse for this regardless of the manufacturer. it's poor quality and shouldn't be tolerated. it has or will find its way into other parts and systems of the truck.

you won't find poor body panel alignment to this extent on a 4 runner.

as long as buyers accept it, there will not be any improvement. it'll take the industry press to start calling them out on social and in print media.

 

He probably should have bought a 4R then.

 

Eventually time evens them out and they both will be tucked into their waist band.... gravity is a harsh mistriss.

 

That's because 4runner is manufactured still over sea's.
