Run that baby through the woods for some pinstriping, park tight at Target for curtain climber dings.

You'll be distracted from noticing the seam. Also in about 3 years when your clearcoat starts failing in your Hawaiian sunbake, that will distract you too.

BTW, anything that rolls off a mass production line as a plebian vehicle (which Tacomas are, regardless of price) are not QC'd for Riddler award winning body or paint work.

    I smell easy win lawsuit.

Stick it to The Man!!! They have to learn that they can't be giving us misaligned rocker panels and expect to get away with it!!!!

I'm high as shit but I honestly can't tell...are you serious?

That tiny gap is a problem to you? I guarantee I can walk the Toyota lot and find a 4R with the same or worse.

Why, is the other plant in Guanajuato known for better panel gaps?

I’ve noticed all kinds of issues like this (panels, trim fit, tire poke/bed alignment, paint blemishes) to include Toyotas, Chevys, Fords. Go to any mall parking lot and closely look at Tacomas … you’ll probably find something similar. Not sure it’s worth the fuss, and I think dealer will say go pound sand.

I went over my truck due to this thread, everything looks equal and the gaps are really good.

I think it's probably luck of the draw.
