For sure it’s a six lug and a TRD Sport. I was there, I saw it. Believe me.

Haha, it definitely had 4X4 too, haha. Sometimes technology can’t overcome the human element.

Just a bunch of old crap
No scoop, either. This truck took off the sport wheels and did a hood swap to dumb down the looks? Odd. It does have color matched bumpers though, unless they're just dipped.

Even a fully locked truck gets stuck when it has no traction on its tires and it's buried up to the axle/frame in sticky mud.

Belwood Lake Conservation Area near Fergus. I agree with the earlier comments that the model may not be a TRD Sport. Good eyes! I was more focussed on their dilemma than the truck. It’s easy to overdrive a 4X4, and these guys found out how easy it is. When I lived in the Yukon and frequently wheeled alone, I drove in 2WD as much as possible, so that I’d know when the conditions required 4X4.

Yeah, the mud that day was plenty sticky. Goop. It stuck on everything it touched, and those tires, not made for mud, were like racing slicks.

The fender flares and front bumper are a different color/texture as well. The grille isnt color matched and it has no fog lights. Looks like an SR to me.

Not a TRD Sport. Doesn't have the hood scoop, wheels, bed-side decals or turn signals in the mirrors. Looks like an SR Tacoma to me.

Yeah, it doesn’t take much. Once the tires get greased up it’s easy to be stuck. That’s why they invented winches haha.
