i just got new projectors and a new set of HIDS. but the cut off line is really bad, or it kinda looks like a bad reflection in the housing i dont know. is there any kind of correct fix for this?

Was this a projector retrofit or just ebay projector head lights? The ebay projector lights probably are only going to have a so so cutoff since they're not even designed for HID's to begin with.

x2 Even when I had my Subaru legacy, it had projectors. I really didn't care for the light cutoff, very prominent.

but what makes no sense to me is it has a clear cut off but it has a weird shine above it.

are your bulbs in upside down? idk if they will still use the metal reflectors that come with them but maybe try flipping them around

I dont think you'll be able to get it any better than that. As the old saying goes, you get what you pay for. If you want a clean cutoff line, you will have to go with a projector retrofit using quality OEM projectors. This is going to run you in the range of 400 dollars if you do the work yourself.

i bought the same head lights as yours but i got the kit with the hids too. im starting to think it has to do with the bulb cause the ones i got doesnt have a metal sheild above the bulb. do your bulbs have that metal sheild?

projectors don't need shields on the bulbs... that's the point of the cut-off shield in the projector itself.
