Good luck OP. Glad you're ok. This reminds me of my very first post on TW. Dashcam footage and all. Having good insurance always help, but the waiting game sucks no matter what.

Looks like your wiper went off as well. I don't know why but I think they always go off in an impact.

Should be able to click the link and view the footage, let me know if it doesn't work.

Went and peeked at a 2016 taco today at the dealer, seems only the TRD sport models are available with a manual now? Looked at tundras too, but the 4.6L DC tundra's payload isn't even a 100lbs over my DCSB was, and towing capacity not much more either. Might go look a 2007 tundra DC 4.7 Limitedfor sale privately for what seems like a great price, otherwise I'll try to hunt down a DCSB manual - hopefully a clean '07 or '08 - I really don't want VSC or an air pump of the newer models, and still get the frame with improved semi-gusseted motor mounts.

Neck has been very sore at times since yesterday morning, hopefully won't be any long term issue but I don't have a crystal ball, so who knows...

Yeah, I have a dash cam for just this reason. Better to protect yourself physically ( the truck) and financially ( dash cam video)

Looks like she either was impatient ( just like 90% of the northern NJ drivers here), a poorly skilled driver, or simply blind. Insurance should rule in your favor.

    I have a few mods
This is exactly why I started using my gopro as my dashcam, it never really gets used anymore...and a lot of the drivers here in FL are horrible. I feel a lot safer knowing I have that camera going. Glad to see your ok, sucks to see the truck in that state

Good to hear your ok... I would have literally lost my shit on her.... Not for killing my truck but for nearly killing me.... The government needs to start making it a little harder for people who simply can't drive get their license
