    :notsure:

I don't understand how I criticized you, I actually thought your hood idea was creative, a little over the top (maybe), but if it worked great. I didn't come in here to shit on your posts. I was trying to make this fun.

Thinking of adding a second battery...
This is why I like the internet and this forum. Sooner or later someone will come up with a fix for something Toyota or other manufacturer forgot to think of before letting production begin...

Thanks for the pictures James. I think I will try this for my 07. How about using some metal screws instead of the foam? I am thinking once it gets really hot, that glue will soften up. What do you think?

Have you considered mounting one of those little metal overhangs over your vagina to keep the sand out?

Calm down. Larry's done plenty to help members of this forum, not always on the web. No one here is really the least bit interested in whether or not you approve of their activity. You're vastly overestimating the importance your "approval".

If you fix a problem before it is ever a problem, what was the problem? and did you really fix anything? I have been washing my truck and driving in shit ton of rain but still nothing except dry carpet and filter. When is the group buy for the tin roof deal gonna start? Better get one just in case.

In the old days the fix would have been a little metal tape on the bottom and a squirt of silicone on the top to fill the hole. Let it set up and reassemble.

I'll take a small problem like this over dead water pumps, dead injectors. Screwed doors. Dead Oxy sensors, Warped heads, weird shifting problems that can't seem to be fixed even at the dealership with a reflash several times. AC systems that work for a year and need to be completely replaced. Dead Trannies. Leaking heating cores that takes over 24 man hours to replace. Headlights of hell that where the mounts break just looking at them. Weird rear window shorts that take out half the electrical system. Cracking interior parts. Radio that never worked, well it worked just that the display never worked properly from new. That's just a small list of problems I've encountered from the big three.
