    To the OP, you met the seller in person, the tires were not mounted so you had the oppertunity to check ie:[running your hands around the inside of the tires] and you didn't,, so now that you find out when you had them mounted 1 had a nail, now your bashing the seller cause he lied? [whether he knew or not about the nail] doesn't mean that you can trash him, you paid for what you got!
    If you bought a truck from a dealer and found out a week later that the valve stem core was loose, would you expect the dealer to give your money back?

    It doesn't matter if he was 17 or 70,, age is not part of this, it's the fact that you didn't check what you were buying, having the oppurtinity to do so

    As far as plugs or patches, I work in the trucking industry, we patch or plug tires all the time, cause at 500.00 a tire there's no way we can trash a tire cause a nail let the air out, and have never had a problem other than the plug failing, which meant replugging the tire cause it still leaked

    long story short,, STOP WHINING LIKE A LITTLE BITCH!!

    Fyi i didnt try to mount the tires, i got home from work the same day and started tacking the rocks out ofbthe thread to get them ready to install as soon as i had time. No idea what a valve steam is. I don't buy used cars.
