I accidentally backed into my riding lawnmower. The leaf bags on the rear of the mower where just high enough to crack the lens of my left rear taillight. I have been quoted $245.00 for the part and $50.00 to install. There are only 3 screws holding the light so the installation is easy. Where can I buy the tail light at a more reasonable price?

I just bought a new 2010 Tacoma Double Cab, I had to replace the RR tail light due to my garage door hitting it.

Anyway, the dealer RoundTree Moore in Lake City Fl. charged me 150.00 to replace the RR tail light. That was the entire assembly including all of the bulbs. Seemed like there was 3 lights daisy chained together with wire. There were two bolts I believe inside the bed that were removed to remove the light. It may have took him 30 seconds to swap it out with a new one. Since it was brand new, Ebay wasn't an option for me.

Hope that helps you out. I cleaned out my garage, now I have plenty of room so I can pull in far enought for the door to never hit me again. Boy was I upset, I didn't have but 100 miles on it and broke the light.

Paddler i backed into a cheap ace hardware $5 mailbox and cracked my left rear light too, its in my photos. I went on ebay and had the choice of a $45 light or $120 i think, i got the $45 one because it was cheaper, only problem was that the reverse light had a darker tint to it then my original light, can barely notice. It will save you money going on ebay
