My '06 still has its original tires. Though the tread is getting thin and they are showing a bit of superficial cracking, I can't complain; they have lasted for far longer than any of the factory tires I had on my previous Toyota trucks. I've had one flat tire, but that was caused by a roofing nail.

Physically, they wore fine, the traction just went to hell in a hurry. At 30k miles, just based on wear alone, I should have had another 10 - 15k miles left but traction wise they were toast.

I got rid of my stock tires at 15,000 miles.Toyota should be ashamed of themselfs putting crap passenger rated tires on a offroad truck.

Meh... I put P-rated tires back on when I replaced them and they're doing just fine. And yes, I do use it as a truck to tow/haul things, just mostly on road. I don't think there was anything wrong with using a P-rated tire, I just think they could have used a better P-rated tire.

Same here, I have 31k on mine and they look good to go for ~another 10k. No issues whatsoever.

Dunflops. Those tires just plain suck. They were a non-starter for me on a TRD Sport (plus I don't like non-functional scoops). I wanted the Off Road more anyway. I could have lived with the scoop, but not the tires, not again.

My '09 had them and the right front one wore the outside shoulder to bald in 30K miles, not to mention the strange flop flop noises.

my stock tires lasted 13,000 miles. they were just dangerous in the snow by that point.

i upgraded to goodyear duratracs. night and day differance.

the stock tires are ok for highway travel but in mud or snow, you might as well mount baloney skins.

Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
Thats a good point, but how many of these trucks actually see dirt? There is a slim few that do, I liked my Dunlops on the highway, but as soon as I hit the dirt I hated them (one time I got a flat from a pea sized pebble lodged between the treads), or snow or ice. Upgraded to Wrangler Silent Armors and never looked back.

the tires might have been ok on a 2wd, but I did not buy a 4x4 for no reason, and at the same time I dont beat it up. Just go check food plots and things like that. Tires suck belong on a camry not tacoma. Oh and Toyota wont call me back either!!!!
