I've been having a problem with my 17 trd sport (AT 4x4) sometimes it just bogs down coming out of a stop, like if it was sucking air or something, no matter if you press the pedal all the way, then it slowly catches up, sometimes it kinda sputters or bucks a little when starting to get some acceleration. Truck starts up right away and I have no codes or anything. I'm thinking there's a remote chance it might be the fuel pump. Is there any way to test it?

Here is the fuel pump recall. Your 2017 is covered for 10 years regardless of mileage.

The 10 year fuel pump replacement only applies to a fuel smell condition.

Sounds like either a faulty fuel pump or your fuel injectors need cleaning .

There can be so many factors in why it's acting as you mentioned. Need more info. What is MILEAGE has it been tuned up (plugs) Have you tried fuel conditioner (shit gas/ possibly water in fuel) As mentioned is yours on fuel pump recall, my 18 was.

Very true. I hope the OP pops the hood to check for any fuel odor.

There's no fuel odor, gas mileage is actually normal, truck has 60k miles, new spark plugs, clean MAF, throttle body, new air filter every service (5k miles), every other service I throw a bottle of chevron fuel additive. And I don't think my truck goes in for a recall, it's a Mexican truck, bought in chihuahua and registered there also. Which responds other question which is shitty gas, sometimes gas is pretty bad around there

Bad gas can clog filters and cause low pressure pump failure.
Are you sure you can't get your low pressure pump replaced? I'd call a dealer and ask. It is unlikely Toyota knows of a failure problem and replaces them, as a preventative safety measure, but says "screw those people in Mexico, even though we build some of them there".
Note the low pressure pump does not need to fail to be replaced. They were faulty and expected to fail, hence a safety issue.

In my part of Baja the local fuel has zero additives and doesn’t gum up small engines. Actually get better mileage running Pemex.
