I drove from pa to sc this past summer. No lift all stock dcab 2010 with alittle bigger tires 265/75/16. I averaged only about 17.6 going 60-75 mpg. 18 don't seem bad to me personally.

I too fell for that worthless POS tornado thingy a couple years back. I was bitching to chris4x4 on the phone like a year after I installed that thing that I wasnt happy with the throttle response in my truck. He asked me what I had for an air filter and I told him a K/N dropin and I mentioned that I stuck a tornado in there too. His immediate response was "for starters, take that stupid tornado outa there and just get back to me with what you get." So I did-and guess what-it instantly ran better. Period. So I called him back all happy and thankful and he says "good buddy-now take that stupid K/N outa there too and stick your stock air filter back in." I go "really??" so I did and guess what? It ran a little better with more off the line throttle. So thank you chris4x4!!! I spent like $150 for those two dumbass things and found out my truck ran BETTER without them. And when your truck runs BETTER, you get BETTER mileage:)
