Bad head gasket?

    Hey there,

    I started losing coolant rapidly while driving. Cannot find any leaks. I pulled a spark plug and it looked clean but the inside of my oil cap is gunned up as pictured. Is this a bad head gasket or could it be something else?

    Get a combustion block tester....40 bucks...

    That's likely just sludge, moisture in the oil system. Longer drives helps combat this.

    Mild lift and some tasty bits
    After the truck is warmed up, look in the coolant reservoir and see if there is a line of little bubbles coming out. How quickly are you losing coolant?
