Has anyone done this setup before? Is it a bad idea?

Here is my vision to moderately lift my truck.

    First, the specs:
2005 DCSB OR Prerunner with TSB leafs. Daily Driver with maybe 2% off road use
    HUB to FENDER Measurements:
    FRONT: D = 20.25", P = 20.5"
    REAR: D = 22.0", P = 22.0"

    The plan:
Install 2017 OR stock suspension (Which should give me about a 1" lift) along with a 1/2" top plate spacer.
    Leave the rear alone.

    The theoretical results:
A level lift with maybe a 1/4" rake once everything settles

    What do you guys think?

Bad title, but otherwise sounds like the plan should work like you said.

I have a 2016 trd OR and I added a 1/2 spacer up front just to clear the 285s until I get around to a proper suspension and I have the Cali lean going on right now. It’s not very noticeable but it sags in the rear when the bed has any amount of weight in it. Not sure you would have the same results with the 2nd gens but just FYI
