i searched and couldnt really find anything but mpg mods. im wondering if my mpgs are bad compared to others. ive got a 2000 prerunner 2.7l on 31" pro comp all terrains. i get 20 to 24 on the freeway at 65-75 mph and it seems like no matter if its 65 or 70 or 75 my rpms dont go any lower than 2400 to high 2500. that doesnt seem right to me. i figured with the 4banger and stock size tires i would be gettin high mpgs. what you guys think?

Thats really good compared to my 6 cylinder with 265/75/16. On freeway at 75mph I get 17-18. As far as your RPM concern, that seems normal

You also have to take into consideration the mileage difference from the factory tire size to your current tire size. If you're running a taller tire, the odometer will read less miles because the outside diameter of your tire travels further than the stock size tire.

Yeah......when I had 285's (D-Rated) with no shell I'd get 18-21 on freeway. Now with my 265's (E-Rated) and camper shell with rack on top I get lower. Whatever....my 40mpg DD is for gas mileage.
