My prayers will be with you all man, I know we don't understand it now, but God has an ultimate purpose to bring good out of this, so you can always have hope in that! We also just recently found out that my grandma has breast cancer, this is her first bout with it, but she also will have to have surgery but we aren't sure when yet, so I know it really is never good news. :(

    RIP Lucy.
    She's gone but not forgotten.
I'm praying hard for her and your family Bill. Keep the faith, it works.

Listen to Craig Morgans' "I thought I was tough". Inspirational.

And always remember we're all here for you if and when you need support.

You know Bill, your wife has one very formidable opponent to that cancer inside her-your absolutely undeniable strong love for her. Let that love be your guide and it will in turn be her power through this. And I join the others here in prayer. There's a great force here behind you and your wife:)

Not much yet, got a pretty good sound system w/ my custom sub box. Plan on adding more lights & a tool box.
Grab THE BOOK & take her to your special place & read to her, pray with her & just talk. Give this to the LORD & see how it goes.
Prayers are with you & your family.

The first three verses of Isaiah 12 are especially helpful to me when it all seems to be going wrong.

I have been holding on to Heb.11:1.
I know this is a test for me also, I have been in a caretaker ministry for almost two years now, this is a testing ground for being a Deacon (in our church).
To be honest I would rather take a written book test, so many eyes on you seeing how you are gonna deal with it.
My wife was beside herself when I told her all the people (from here) that were sending their thoughts and prayers her (our) way.
The last time we went through this she was treated as an outsider, people thought they were going to catch it from her, so with this they did not talk to her or reach out. Matter of fact only 4 people outside of the family even wanted to be seen with her. I found this rather bothersome, and voiced my opinion. That did not go over to well, but won't go into detail over that.
So far, only one person (not counting parents) has got in contact with her, that is so sad. But then knowing people like you all are sending so much this way is a real and true blessing to us both.
Thanks again SO much, and I will keep everyone posted on what the Monday's appointment looks like.

I am so sorry to hear about this. It is very obvious how much you love her. You're going to have to try to be strong for her although this will not be easy. Hopefully you'll remember you have a whole "family" here you can vent to whenever you choose. You and your wife will be in my thoughts and prayers.

I'm so sorry that you and your wife didn't get/aren't getting the support in real life that you both need and deserve! Frankly, I'm shocked that those around you would treat her this way. My stomach knotted up when I read that. I wish that I could give her a hug!! If she ever needs to vent or talk, I am here. Just pm me, and I'll send my email address--I know I'm a total stranger, but the offer stands.

Bill, you have nothing to be sorry about on here.. YOU are doing the right thing by reaching out for support. It is a convoluted road to which you are traveling down. Be certain of this-- there can be no greater gift than that which is love, devotion and above all faith in the Lord. Take solace in knowing He which walks by you and your wife. Keep your chin up. I will keep you and your family in my prayers. God Bless.

    Longbow,

Prayers to you and your wife.
My mother fought cancer for 5 years, cousin had it last year. Now sister has had a lumpectomy and then a mascectomy this year. Know that prayer helps. Stay strong have her drink alkaline water cancer cells can not survive in alkaline water.
    Keep the faith.
