So I seriously cannot remove the right top nut. I got a die and it went on there just fine, so the threads are true. But for some fucking reason it just won't come off, and the top is just rounding more and more every time I try to use needle nose vice grips.

Cause the regular vice grips are too big to use with the wrench properly.

No seriously, I'm looking for solutions now. I'd like to save this shock if I can. My next option is to file it down flat true again and try to use the small wrench again, this time maybe with a 4mm?

Do you have access to a sweating torch? Put some heat to it for a couple cycles to loosen it up. This works wonders for me when dealing with rusty/damaged bolts.

Drivers side is on even worse than the passengers.

Tried with the 5mm wrench. Nothing. Tried with the needle nose vice grips. Nothing.

It's like it's fucking welded on. Simply put. I'm going to have to cut off both of my rear shocks to replace them.
