Bad Paint on New '13 Tacoma..

Dude it is a rock guard.. Period man... Toyota takes a little extra step here.. That's it... Fords, chevs and dodges are smooth...

 

Well then the regional Toyota service manager must of misinformed me 8 yrs ago when I bought my 05 and thought it was a problem. Not to mention the 3 Chevy's I've owned. Didn't mean to offend anybody.

 

No offense taken... Just saying that the rep was a dummy it is not just a "sloppy" leftover job they don't want to buff "orange peel" as you were told. It should be like that on all pickups.

 

No need to be a dick. It was something he hadn't seen before and was worried about. This site is for Tacoma enthusiasts and new owners who want advice and help. I'm sure you've had questions about "inane" stuff in your lifetime, even if it wasn't about Tacoma's. Stop posting and leave if you can't take new owners.

I work at Dodge and you should seen some of the paint on the new cars we get in at work. Its unbelievable.

 

I've owned 2 different model years, drives and cab styles, both had this, its a rock guard or whatever that orange peel thing is, I will bet if you go to a dealer lot every taco has it.
