Bad part number for battery

    I moded 1999 Taco so much it had turned to Land Cruiser
    Just a warning. Toyota has bad part number for 05-08 trucks with tow package. Battery should be 27F for trucks with towing package but it lists 24F battery.
    All 2009+ trucks are listed with 27F battery

    I moded 1999 Taco so much it had turned to Land Cruiser
    Forgot to add 27F hold 50% of juice and the price difference is minimal. So its pretty much good upgrade for everybody else

    Ya they barely released the 27f to the public stores like autozone and Orielys like 4 or 5 months ago I worked for auto-zone for 3 years and put a 24f in mine with tow package and it makes no significant difference

    I ran into this a couple of years ago when replacing mine. To the best of my knowledge, all Canadian sold Tacoma's had the 27F battery regardless of the tow package or not. My 2005 don't have the tow package, but has the 27F.
