Okay, so I'm probably asking you guys to shoot in the dark, but I though I'd ask just in case you guys have some insight.

So I just installed a 3"lift in the front w/add-a-leaf's in the back of my '05 Taco. Now there is this metal against metal sound. It doesn't happen all the time, but when it does, it sounds pretty bad. I've been able to rule out the new tires (they do rub occasionally when I'm backing up and turning, but this sound is very different). Sometimes it sounds like the sound is coming from the passenger side rear; other times I can't tell where its coming from.

Any suggestions as to what I should try?

    Thx, Rich.

Check the torque on the u-bolts for the leaf springs. Also, what type of 3 inch lift did you do the in the front? If you have larger springs, you may need a sway bar relocation kit to prevent the sway bar from rubbing against the coil springs.

    Hi all,

I figured it out. Turns out it wasn't coming from then rear. It was nothing more than the dust plates rubbing up against the rotors pushed 'um back our and every thing's fine.
