    Who is the rocket scientist at Toyota who designed the running board placement?! This is bugging the crap out of me! On my Tundra the boards were functional and served a purpose but I am finding that on my Taco they just get in the way. Are there some spacers or something out there that can remedy this issue?

    I've bought 2 trucks with these on them and removed them immediately after getting home. As much as I hated the looks of the running boards on my wife's old 4Runner they were functional. The Tacoma ones are just in the way.

    Which ones are you talking about specifically? The predator steps are useless IMO, and the huge 4" ones are way too big.

    Yeah, mine are too high to be any use. Must be about 4" below the floor. I just step over them. I got them to help the wife in and out, but she steps over them now too! I wouldn't mind a way to re mount them lower.
