Ahh yes. We have a reference for that in the Marines. Typically they use it to cover up dents, but it'll work on scratches and scuffs as well. It's called "Marine Bondo."

 

Lasagna strips work well, too. If you get stuck out on the trail...you're half way to dinner. This and cool whip tire inflator and you'll want to get stuck in the middle of nowhere.

All sorts of solutions are possible:
-use dishwasher soap instead of expensive washer fluid.
-tin foil to replace a broken mirror.
- shrink wrap to fix/replace glass.
- pillowcase for a seat covers.
