Any vibs in the steering wheel when you apply the brakes? What about the floorboard/drivers seat?

I know you replaced the rotors, but my first impression is the rotors. They usually cause that shake during hard braking from a pretty good pace.
Have someone wiggle the steering wheel slightly back and forth, back and forth while your under the truck and look at all the steering linkages for anything wore out or loose.

I too think it could be your rotors. Sometimes just turning them isn't enough. I would suggest you consider new, OEM rotors and pads as the next step.

A vib in the steering wheel when brakes are applied indicates the source is the front brakes.

i just turned my rotors today, and the vibration is still there when i apply the brakes. Did you use replacement OEM rotors and pads? My 01 DC prerunner is stock other than the 265/75/16's.

oem or brembo blanks are good rotors to use.

OP, congrats on the fix. vibration while braking is almost always time for new rotors. sometimes, rotors warp and turning them won't solve the issue. good job.
