My drive shaft needs to be replaced in my 06 dbl cab pre runner. Like many others on here my truck was vibration really bad around 50-65 mph. Today I was driving (20 mph) and it sounded like a gun went off and the truck was in drive but the pedal was unresponsive. I made it to the side of the road and looked under and see my driveshaft hanging. The u joint busted and now the dealer is telling me I need a new driveshaft and its $860. Any aftermarket ones cheaper or better?

+1 - if you're lifted, you may want to have them put together a cv shaft and reset the pinion angle

Truck is not lifted, everything is stock. I have new tires and figured they were out of balance and was on my way to have them road forced balanced. Is $860 a little pricey? I would like to order one online and have a local shop install it.
