I've noticed coolant leaking from my engine bay. Checking this site, others etc, i assumed it was my water pump. I also noticed coolant around my radiator. The problem was, I had refilled the reservoir a little and had spilled some coolant, so i wasn't quite sure if I was leaking somewhere else, or if it was coolant that had spilled.

Anyway, I started the process to replace my water pump today. Sure enough, my water pump weep hole is cover with crusty coolant. However, my radiator seems to have a leak as well. At least as well as I can tell. Its leaking from the fins in somewhat of a "V" pattern, right in front of the fan. I have no experience with radiators at all. I was hoping it was maybe coolant splashing from the water pump leak, but that doesn't appear to be the case. Anyway, I guess I will have to order and replace that as well.

My question though, is this common on these Tacomas? Searching, I found basically nothing about radiator leaks on 2nd gens. Its an 2006, 4.0 V6, 4x4.
And I've only got about 58,000 miles on it. Seems odd that I would have radiator issues as well. Can the water pump and radiator be indicative of a different problem that needs to be addressed as well?? Thanks!
