So after I got my lift on and got an alignment I noticed a vibration. First thing that comes to mind is the numerous threads on TW. So I go back to have my alignment re checked and i had the mechanic drive it. Long story short I have a bad wheel bearing at only 70k miles. wth I hope my bumper to bumper will cover this. I read through the contract that I got from my bank when I purchased the BtoB warranty regarding their terms and conditions. No where does it say wheel bearings are a wear item nor do they say they dont cover wheel bearing replacements.

I guess my question is, has anyone ever had their wheel bearings changed under any type of warranty?

I had mine changed under the 60k warranty. Shop manager drove it and confirmed it was a bad wheel bearing.

How was it determined you had a bad wheel bearing? Was it making noise? Was it a front wheel bearing? If so, is this what your mechanic is causing the vibration? I'm just curious as I'm still chasing the steering wheel vibration/shaking. Thanks!

Vibrating sound is coming from the front left bearing. When I turn to the right slightly it stops making the vibration because there isn't as much load on it.

I'm going to Toyota tomorrow and see if my warranty will cover it.
