Did you see any crawdads while you were playing in the lake? Nice pictures by the way. I need to go up there again. It’s been probably twenty years since I’ve been there. Last I remember driving some of the roads around there and towards the Dalles watershed, felt like I needed to wear a kidney belt.

The drive is much cushioned when airing down... Last time in June when I seen @TacoTim85 i was running 12lbs and it felt like a caddy.

Think I was at 15 psi? On my way out a family in a dodge ram asked me how far to the lake and if there was a better road lol

I wasn't going to chance it, as the sidewalls of my tires are not that strong. So as you can imagine I was bouncing all over the place. Next time, new tires and airing down for sure.

I would respectully offer you to consider that your tires are less likely to be punctured by a rock, limb, etc when aired down somewhat... but to each their own. Only a friendly suggestion that you could try for the sake of comfort.

For example, the only time I knocked my truck out of alignment was the only time I didn't air down. That was a more difficult, rocky trail...but you get the point.

Yeah I know.... I just have to get used to the fact that it is OK to air down a "4 ply" tire.

I’ve never aired down for badger. The road off 35 isn’t bad but the road coming from lost lake is rough. Too crowded anymore. I live outside Sandy and rarely go up there because of it. During the week it’s a lot better though. Did they get the trail cleared out all the way around the lake? There was a ton of blowdown early last year and trail was toasted.

Makes sense. It’s either toyotas or diesels here. Not much in between lol.

No real clue. We didn’t go much further than the immediate campground and lake area. We did take the road in from 35, and I don’t really think airing down was necessary. But I also am not a good judge of when it is. We did see a Forest Service Crew headed that way when we were there though.

Sandy rules! I’ve only been here for 20 years. I miss the old Sandy.
