    i debadged my taco last night, i used the 3m tape to put back on an they dont want to lay as flat on the truck as they were from the start. is this how they are or maybe using to much tape? anyone else have this prob?

    I don't think it is too much tape, but the type you used. Look for something that is a slimmer and not cushiony (if that makes sense).

    I used the same 3M tape when I reinstalled mine and they do pop out a little bit but its barely noticeable and it doesnt bother me. But hey do make thinner tape out there you can get.

    ^ Yeah 3M makes a million different tapes and several for auto badging applications. OP, check online you will get a better variety than in the autoparts store.

    have to check that out guys thanks. ww, yea i know what u mean somthing that would lay flater behind the badge on the truck.

    Just for some extra info for you. I have had mine on for about 2.5-3 years with that 3M tape and I've never had any issues or problems with them coming loose or breaking off. But I do remember that it was automotive 3M tape for like side moldings for vehicles so its a lot stronger then that office 3M tape.

    i used the automotive 3m, just wanted to see if there was anything a little thinner but just as strong out there that works good.
