Recently debadged(is that a word?) and came across a couple of alternatives. Anyone else have something similar?

I just debadged as well. I’ve seen badges like those before, big improvement in my opinion. I’m sticking to the debadged stealthy look though.

De-badged and de-stickered looks best. That being said, looks are subjective.

I'm with you for no stinking badges. they are so huge & obnoxious. the lines on the truck are great as they are.

Is de-badging pretty easy and worry free? Thought about removing the “V6” and “4x4” badges on the tail but worried about messing up the paint on a brand new truck. Any tips?

I’ve read a hair dryer and fishing line, seems easy enough but don’t want to mess it up!

So what I did was I have a heat gun. With a heat gun you have to be extremely careful especially with plastic which these badges are. So with that information you’re easy with a heat gun and you warm up the whole badge. Then you get yourself some 15 pound fishing line. About 3 ft worth. Start either end which ever is comfortable and run that fishing line behind the badge. It comes right off. Then the glue that’s left on it it’s kind of like a rubber silicone and I was able to rub that off of my thumb no chemicals. Then I just clean it off and put a coat of spray wax on it.

The TRD 4 x 4 decal was even easier. I heated up the corner, peeled it, came right off.
    Easy.

Dental floss is abrasive. I would suggest using fishing line. Monofilament not braided.
