I have been looking at bumpers for a couple of weeks now and have decided on these. They're similar in looks (except for a couple of cosmetic differences that I can see) and I was wondering how they compared to each other. I have seen a few threads reviewing each and saw some great things about each, but I haven't really seen any pitting them against each other. I was hoping y'all could help me out with weight, approach angle, ease of installation, how well they do when taking a hit, etc. I want the best bang for the buck bumper that will let me not have to worry about my front end as much.

Only speaking first hand about addicteds but it's a fantastic bumper. Had one on two different 4runners. Installation is straight forward, bolts into the factory recovery points and the cross member I believe. I wanna say it's around 75-90lbs? All I can say about impacts is we slammed down off a rock on the bumper, and it didn't budge a bit. Very solid. Customer service is fantastic as well.

Thank you for your reply! I'll keep that info in mind as I keep looking. These two definitely caugh my eye and it's just a matter of which one seems better when the time comes for me to purchase.

That looks great as well. Out of the Badlands bumpers would you recommend the Baja Winch or the Basher and for what reasons? I think I like more of the Baja style more, but I don't know.

Basher has better side protection (by the headlight/turn signal).
IMO baja is more of a sporty look. Both built on the same platform.

Okay cool. It always comes down to looks vs protection. I've always liked the single stinger in the middle without the headlight hooks, so I may go with that.

Also, if anyone has ways to mount limb raisers without a roof rack share those pics! I was thinking about somehow connecting them from a light bar mount to the bumper, but I don't know how that'd work. So if anyone has any experience they can bring to the table that would be great.
