    The old "Coin Flip"
    create the perception of chance with a predetermined outcome that leaves all non informed parties thinking it was fair...
    Say you have some news arriving by mail...you want someone else to read it first and they say to you "I'll read it and then flip a coin...if it's heads I'll tell you the results. If it's tails I'll keep it a secret." Of course what you really do is pretend it's heads or tails and only reveal the news if it's good news...

    I believe I learned this great move from reading Marilyn Vos Savant's column...Which reminds me...She wrote something once about the fragile/balloon nature of the stock market and the misconception of aggregate wealth. Essentially the wealth of stock ownership only really exists for the small group exiting with cash on any given day. All other $$ is only perceived as existing...Basically a modification of the "you haven't lost untill you sell" Well you haven't made anything either...

    I don't play the crypto game (not saying that I should/shouldn't), but I have been actively trading options for almost 10 years. That's stress enough lol.
    I was the one that kept the old investment thread in-line/online until folks went down the rabbit hole and proceeded to fight with other mods, and Benny is in here now to manage it so we're good. I have no interest in shutting the discussion down.

    I was home.
    I had cash in my account.
    Markets took a dive, especially the NASDAQ.
    Markets started to pair and rally late day.
    LOT of big tech earnings after hours.
