    I didn’t mean to call you out. I was just reacting to this thread in general which is just recommending tools without much analysis about what might fail and how it could be repaired in the field.

    Other good tools for a remote desert drip might be a large water supply system, desert footwear, sun protection, and a long range radio compatible with those used in the region.
